The Dream That Doesn’t Sleep
CodeMyDreams is the culmination of the aviation career missed in life, now built and made real in the early hours of the night for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The team starts and ends with me, Dimi (Chief Dreamer). This project was born from an overwhelming desire to fly, anywhere and everywhere, and see the world from above where everything is pristine and serene. The only way to truly live that reality was to design it, code it, and build it myself.
I built this project first for me, to make that fantasy tangible. Now, every mission I release is a piece of my imaginary personal journey, designed to live through my authentic and evolving characters, Daniel and Faith. I quickly realized this adventure was too selfish to keep to myself, so I decided to share it with the world.
The Three Pillars of CodeMyDreams
Though the team may be small (okay, it’s just me), the vision is vast. I operate under three core principles:
The Code: I design the interactive game content and write the code that transforms the beautiful Microsoft Flight Simulator sandbox into the curated path for my imaginary journeys. It's the technical backbone that makes the dream real.
The Story: I develop deeply relatable character journeys and impactful narratives that give every flight genuine meaning.
The Skill: I fuse as much authentic aviation protocols as possible into every part of the journey. The resulting content is designed to level up my sim-flying skills to a new height and ensure I become a better virtual pilot.
