Chaos Log Entry 2 - The Dream Factory

Commitment Made Physical
If the dream is going to be built, it requires more than just late nights and raw ambition - it requires a headquarters. I've officially moved out of the comfortable couch setup and into a dedicated space: The Dream Factory. This move is the physical manifestation of the project's absolute commitment.

Proper dreaming requires a proper setup. This is the hardware powering the reality:

  • The View: Samsung 34" Ultrawide main screen providing the perfect vista.

  • The Cockpit: Two 15" touchscreens serving as dedicated Primary Flight Display and Multi Function Display.

  • The Engine: A beast of a gaming laptop, featuring an i9 13th Generation CPU and an RTX 4080 GPU, drives the simulator and acts as the essential Navigraph Map Display.

  • The Controls: Full flight fidelity thanks to the Honeycomb setup: Alpha Flight Controls, Bravo Throttle Quadrant, and Charlie Rudder Pedals.

  • The Immersion: A Tobii Eye Tracker 5 is installed for camera control and truly immersive flying.

This is where the hours are spent, the code is compiled, and the commitment lives.

The First Technical Victory
While the hardware is important, the real work happens in the code. For weeks, the undocumented nature of the MSFS SDK has made mission development feel like climbing an invisible mountain. The fight has been relentless, but the breakthrough has finally arrived.

I can confirm that the first missions are visible! Chapter 1, UK Leg 1 and Leg 2, have achieved mission visibility in the simulator. The fundamental mission backbone structure has finally been established and set as a template, giving a solid, working foundation for all future chapters. This is the technical victory that makes everything else possible. Looking forward to what is to come next!


Foundation Update
The digital presence is also finalized. The website is finished, and social media channels have been established. The foundation is set, the factory is operational, and the path to Chapter 1 is clear.
